I would be very happy. But I would not get much sleep.
I got my learner's permit today. The test, which I was told was easy, really wasn't, and I missed three. I still passed, though. I got a temporary permit and they will send my real one in the mail. This is kind of what our car looks like, although it does not belong specifically to me. I'm not that lucky yet!

Math opens doors. Everybody plays baseball, you know? So you have to be really good to have very many big opportunities. But math, math is less popular. Anybody can do math contests, and if you are any good, it leads to exciting things fast. I was just in Las Vegas for three days with the top high school mathematicians in the west, and it was amazing. Math people are cool people. But there are, of course, other cool people. I am on the verge of leaving the cool people in Colorado, which makes me a little sad. I applied to Phillips Exeter Academy earlier this year, and got accepted with a gigantic scholarship. So in the fall, I am off to New Hampshire! Yeah, it is more than a little terrifying. But Exeter is pretty much an amazing place, and I think it's time for a new direction. It also helps that I am very fond of airplanes:-) I'll put a link to the school website below.

That's awesome that you got your permit! I'm doing an online course right now.. I still need to finish the first lesson before I actually go on to get my permit. It says that I need to change a tire in the first lesson but I don't think I'm gonna do that. I don't have enough time and my dad doesn't have enough time to help me, and I don't think that there's gonna be anything on the test about changing a tire. I need to get my permit so that I can get my license as soon as possible... so I don't have to ride the evil bus. lol.

and I have to wait till I'm 18... but, hey, it used to be 21, so that's still progress...
